Account Manager - IT Logistics

About the role

We are looking for an Account Manager to lead a portfolio of IT‑focused logistics accounts. You will act as the primary commercial contact, ensuring smooth coordination between internal teams and customers while driving revenue growth and margin discipline.

Key responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of IT vertical accounts end‑to‑end from a commercial perspective, covering relationships, pricing, scope, escalations and growth.
• Transition accounts from senior team members during the onboarding phase and become the named commercial contact within 90 days.
• Onboard newly acquired accounts, align internal resources and ensure execution readiness.
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities through new lanes, geographies and value‑added services such as IOR/EOR and ITAD.
• Maintain margin discipline by managing pricing, scope control, billing accuracy and receivables.
• Collaborate with operations and SOE teams to produce accurate quotations and seamless execution.
• Serve as the commercial escalation point and keep forecasting, reporting and pipeline visibility up to date.

Required profile

• 5+ years of account management experience in freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain.
• Strong customer‑facing skills, confident in commercial conversations and handling escalations.
• Commercially sharp with solid instincts on rates, margins and contract negotiation.
• Highly organized, able to manage a book of accounts, keep CRM data clean and produce reliable forecasts.
• Growth‑mindset, eager to learn IT logistics specifics and develop towards team leadership.
