About the role
We are looking for an Account Manager who will serve as the primary liaison between customers and our manufacturing facilities. The role focuses on handling quotation requests, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining profitability.
Key responsibilities
- Act as first point of contact for customers and factories on commercial matters.
- Drive the commercial team to respond to RFQs and resolve PO issues.
- Initiate RFQ process, share BOM and drawings with costing team, and prepare quotes based on approved cost models.
- Validate PO accuracy and coordinate launch to factories according to customer delivery dates.
- Manage margins to prevent loss and monitor on‑time delivery performance.
- Handle Return Material Authorizations (RMA) to close any outstanding commercial issues.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Degree in Engineering, Business or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an account management or managerial role within the manufacturing industry.
- Understanding of multi‑level BOMs and ability to perform BOM comparisons.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel functions.
- Knowledge of the 8D problem‑solving methodology.
