About the role
DayOne is seeking a dynamic Account Manager to drive client relationships and sales growth within the fast‑expanding data centre industry. You will act as a trusted advisor to key customers, delivering tailored solutions and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
- Oversee a portfolio of accounts, ensuring timely delivery of services and products and addressing any issues.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, analyse trends and report on account health and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development and customer service teams for a cohesive client engagement approach.
- Lead contract negotiations and close deals while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and market conditions to identify growth opportunities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in the data centre industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data‑driven decisions.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
