Account Manager

About the role

Join AIA's Marketing, Distribution & Partnership team as an Account Manager focused on corporate insurance renewal growth. You will work closely with Financial Service Consultants (FSCs) and agency leaders to nurture existing corporate accounts and expand coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve renewal growth targets and other KPIs for the Agency Channel.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with FSCs and agency leaders to grow corporate insurance accounts.
• Encourage agents to cross‑sell individual policies to corporate clients.
• Set appointments and meet agency leaders/FSCs during monthly agency meetings.
• Provide timely renewal status updates and growth data for reporting and forecasting.
• Prepare renewal terms or sales proposals for new lines of cover in line with underwriting guidelines.
• Submit renewal employee data and placement documentation, coordinating with internal operations.
• Follow up on outstanding premium collections to meet credit‑control standards.
• Deliver joint corporate sales presentations and employee communication sessions with FSCs.
• Participate in sales training, CPD activities, and other projects such as product enhancements and market analysis.
• Attend corporate events, which may occur outside normal office hours.

Required profile

• Proven ability to meet renewal growth targets and other performance metrics.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with FSCs, agency leaders, and corporate clients.
• Proactive, disciplined, and able to manage multiple renewal cycles simultaneously.
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
• Attention to detail for accurate data reporting and documentation.
• Willingness to work flexible hours for events and meetings.
