Account Sales - Semiconductor Equipment

About the role

Applied Materials, a global leader in materials science and engineering solutions for semiconductors and advanced displays, is hiring an Account Sales representative in Singapore. As account owner, you represent the company to the customer and the customer to the company in all sales-oriented activities, working from the Upper Changi site and visiting customers' sites.

Key responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and develop and implement sales strategies
• Call on existing and new customers to present Applied products and services, and coordinate customer demonstrations with product business group representatives
• Present product roadmaps and capabilities to customers and customer technology needs to product business group representatives
• Prepare pricing quotes, negotiate to final price and submit documentation to book orders
• Follow up on accounts receivable
• Maintain coverage and documentation for assigned customers, including summaries of customer visits and customer-specific action plans

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
• Experience in account sales, business development or technical sales within semiconductor, capital equipment or advanced manufacturing
• Proven ability to manage complex customer accounts and sales cycles
• Ability to travel locally and regionally (about 20% of the time); relocation is not eligible
