Accountant (6-Month Contract)

About the role

Ingram Micro is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional on a 6-month contract to oversee key areas of financial management, including working capital, revenue accounting, management reporting and fixed assets. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards and insight through performance analysis and forecasting.

Key responsibilities

• Working capital management: manage cash flow, prepare and monitor working capital forecasts and drive optimisation initiatives
• Revenue accounting: review revenue recognition against policy, prepare revenue forecasts and profitability analysis, support month-end and quarter-end revenue close, and maintain compliance with accounting standards
• Management reporting: prepare executive dashboards and management reports, and conduct financial performance and variance analysis
• Fixed assets accounting: maintain the fixed assets register, calculate and reconcile depreciation, manage acquisitions and disposals, and report fixed assets in line with accounting standards

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA or CA preferred
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, management reporting or a similar role
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
