Accountant – ASEAN Finance & Compliance

About the role

We are seeking an Accountant to oversee finance, tax, treasury and compliance for our legal entities across the ASEAN region. Operating with minimal supervision, you will manage complex general ledger activities and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform month‑end close for multiple ASEAN legal entities, preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Reconcile and document all general ledger accounts in line with established procedures.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls to ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulations.
• Manage treasury and payroll functions, including payment processing and cash‑flow management for each country.
• Coordinate external audits and prepare corporate and indirect tax filings, ensuring full regulatory compliance.
• Support review and enhancement of financial accounting policies, procedures and systems.
• Lead or participate in special projects such as general ledger enhancements and accounting system changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline (CPA or equivalent preferred).
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, SEC, IRS and FASB regulations.
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with Power Platform tools – PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and other accounting software.
