Accountant – Crypto & Financial Reporting

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Accountant to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the organization’s financial health, with a special focus on cryptocurrency transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the general ledger, full sets of books, and financial records in a cloud accounting system.
• Process and verify cryptocurrency transactions, reconcile crypto wallets and bank accounts.
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash‑flow reports.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes and provide supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and assist with internal and external audits.
• Implement internal controls and improve accounting workflows through automation.
• Provide financial analysis and prepare presentations for management and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in cryptocurrency or fintech.
• Professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Xero or other cloud accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
• Experience using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency transaction processing and blockchain concepts.
