Accountant – Financial Reporting & Audit

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant to support our financial operations by preparing monthly closes, management accounts, and financial statements that comply with SFRS/IFRS. You will work closely with auditors and business units to ensure accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and timely audit completion.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial close and management accounts for accurate reporting.
• Assist in drafting financial statements in line with SFRS/IFRS standards.
• Liaise with external auditors and reporting accountants to facilitate audit fieldwork and resolve queries.
• Prepare audit schedules and follow up on audit queries to support timely audit completion.
• Implement Standard Operating Procedures, internal controls, and reporting templates to improve financial processes.
• Collaborate with business units to ensure correct revenue recognition and cost allocation.
• Conduct ad‑hoc financial reporting and analysis as requested by management.

Required profile

• Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting or audit.
• Basic knowledge of SFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Prior exposure to audit or multi‑entity environments is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines.
