Accountant – Financial Reporting & Tax

About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Accountant to join a multinational company’s finance team. The role involves overseeing month‑end closing, financial reporting and tax compliance while supporting various improvement projects.
Key responsibilities
- Review monthly closing of accounts and prepare supporting schedules.
- Consolidate financial statements and produce management and statutory reports.
- Authorize payables and receivables invoices.
- Handle GST reporting, corporate tax reporting and deferred tax computations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and statutory requirements.
- Prepare and monitor cash‑flow reports.
- Support ad‑hoc improvement projects as needed.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Banking, Finance or a related field.
- Prior experience in audit or a supervisory role is highly desirable.
- Meticulous, responsible and able to work independently.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and good communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (preferred).
