Accountant / Senior Accountant

About the role

The Clermont Group is seeking an experienced Accountant or Senior Accountant to manage the day‑to‑day accounting for assigned entities and lead the Accounts Payable function across our regional operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities and full responsibility for Accounts Payable.
• Execute month‑end closing and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Conduct year‑end closing, produce financial statements and coordinate tax returns.
• Ensure compliance with global and local accounting policies and standards.
• Oversee regulatory reporting, annual audit and tax filing deadlines.
• Prepare clear, concise financial and analytical reports.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Assist tax advisory and optimisation projects with external advisers.
• Analyse financing options as required.
• Contribute to special Finance & Accounting projects.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification.
• Big 4 experience is a strong advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and financial governance.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft applications.
• Meticulous, able to work under high standards.
• Professional demeanor and ability to earn trust at all levels.
• Willingness to travel regionally to support operating companies.
