Accountant / Senior Accountant – Regional Finance Operations

About the role

The Global Finance & Technology Network is seeking a structured, tech‑savvy Accountant (or Senior Accountant) to manage finance operations across multiple countries. You will split your time between group‑wide Accounts Payable and full‑set accounting for assigned jurisdictions, supporting the organisation’s digital transformation agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Manage group Accounts Payable, processing vendor invoices, inter‑company entries and travel & expense claims in line with policies.
• Execute full‑set accounting (GL and AR) for designated countries.
• Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on invoice submission and resolve vendor inquiries promptly.
• Perform month‑end closing activities, including accruals, provisions and reconciliations.
• Prepare and run payment cycles, ensuring cash control and adherence to payment terms.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with local tax regulations (GST/VAT, withholding tax, statutory reporting).
• Participate in digital transformation projects, defining requirements, assessing impacts and assisting with UAT for financial tools.
• Analyse payment trends, monitor aged payables and produce ad‑hoc reports for business decisions.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent professional certification (Chartered Accountant, ACCA, etc.).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a regional or multi‑country setting.
• Hands‑on experience with Tier‑1 ERP systems such as Oracle or NetSuite.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
