Accountant / Senior Accountant – Tax & Compliance

About the role

The Accountant / Senior Accountant will support the Accounting and Finance Manager in tax compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting. The role ensures accurate financial closings, manages statutory filings, and provides SAP controlling support to cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare corporate tax computations, annual filings and GST submissions, and manage withholding and property tax transactions.
• Lead J‑SOX compliance activities, internal audit preparation, and strengthen internal control frameworks.
• Oversee lease, sub‑lease, and fixed‑asset accounting, including asset retirement obligations and spare‑parts movements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, monthly closing, income recognition and deferred tax postings, and produce quarterly management reports.
• Provide SAP Controlling module user support, troubleshooting and guidance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional certification is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting/finance experience (8 years for senior level) in a multinational or Big 4 environment.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations, accounting standards and internal control frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, communication and detail‑orientation skills.
