Accounting & Bookkeeping Associate

About the role

PwC's Accounting Services practice helps clients manage and meet their accounting and compliance requirements, using customised services based on Singapore Financial Reporting Standards or International Financial Reporting Standards. The Associate level position offers specialist advice in areas such as financial instruments, business combinations, pensions and share schemes, corporate treasury, company secretarial and corporate governance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general ledger data entry
• Code accounts payable and receivable invoices
• Prepare cheque payments and expense claim reimbursements
• Prepare statutory financial statements
• Coordinate and liaise with clients on day-to-day accounting matters and queries
• Manage client deliverables to ensure agreed timelines are met

Required profile

• Diploma or degree with solid accounting concepts
• ACCA graduate, or someone currently pursuing ACCA or another accounting-related course
• Experience handling a full set of accounts and compiling statutory financial statements
• Final-year accountancy students from local and overseas universities are welcome to apply
• Good interpersonal skills, meticulous and organised, with a flair for numbers

Required skills

• Knowledge of Sage 300 and Xero is preferred
• Accounting and financial reporting standards
• Tax preparation and tax return filing
