Accounting Intern – Asia Pacific (Singapore)

About the role
Join Shiseido's Asia Pacific and Singapore accounting teams as an Accounting Intern. This role offers hands‑on exposure to core accounting processes, including accounts receivable, month‑end closing, and audit support, while working across multiple business units.
Key responsibilities
- Learn and perform reconciliations for the financial year closing.
- Assist in setting up reporting templates for the new financial year.
- Support the financial year‑end audit by providing documentation to external auditors.
- Help the accounting team with month‑end closing activities to accelerate the close process.
- Collaborate with the IT team to identify and resolve system or data errors, improving data accuracy.
- Review, analyze, and flag potential data integrity issues.
Required profile
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others and take initiative with guidance.
- Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
