Accounting Manager Specialist

About the role

The Accounting Manager Specialist will lead end‑to‑end accounting processes for multiple entities across the APAC region. You will work closely with global finance teams, regional business partners, and external auditors to ensure high‑quality financial reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Drive standardisation and execution of regional accounting processes, including month‑end and year‑end close.
• Review, consolidate and validate financial documents for board reporting and global consolidation.
• Approve journal entries, ensure accurate coding and alignment with regional accounting principles.
• Oversee trial balance, general ledger, and balance‑sheet reconciliations for 2‑3 APAC entities.
• Conduct variance analysis and resolve complex accounting issues.
• Lead internal and external statutory reporting, audit coordination and compliance with local accounting standards, IFRS and tax regulations.
• Collaborate with legal, tax, transfer pricing, AP and treasury teams on GST filings, transfer pricing adjustments and regulatory matters.
• Implement global finance projects such as Blackline across the region.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of local accounting standards, IFRS and tax laws.
• Experience reviewing journal entries, trial balances and financial statements for multiple entities.
• Proven ability to manage audit processes and statutory reporting.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
