Accounts Executive – Accounts Receivable

About the role

The Accounts Executive (AR) will support the finance team by managing the full accounts receivable cycle, ensuring accurate recording, timely collections, and proper reporting. This contract position is islandwide in Singapore and offers exposure to both trade and non‑trade transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Record and post trade and non‑trade Accounts Receivable transactions, including sales and collections.
• Generate AR reports such as aging analysis and sales listings, and reconcile them against the trial balance.
• Participate in AR meetings and Credit Committee meetings.
• Update the Fixed Assets system, conduct physical counts, perform reconciliations, and support month‑end closing.
• Prepare journal entries in the General Ledger.
• Assist auditors and provide support for Accounts Payable and other ad‑hoc finance tasks.

Required profile

• Experience in handling accounts receivable and related reporting.
• Familiarity with fixed‑asset management and month‑end closing processes.
• Ability to prepare journal entries and work with auditors.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
