Accounts Receivable Assistant

About the role

The Accounts Receivable Assistant will support the finance team of Pullman Singapore Hill Street by handling daily AR transactions, ensuring accurate billing, and maintaining timely payment records. This role is essential for smooth financial operations within a high‑end hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day financial transactions: verify, classify, compute, post and record accounts receivable data.
• Ensure timely and accurate client billing and process incoming payments in line with financial policies.
• Post and reconcile cash, GIRO, TT, and credit‑card payments promptly.
• Review credit‑card charge‑backs and alert the Assistant Accountant.
• Check Banquet Event Orders for deposits and ensure they are received and posted.
• Raise invoices or credit notes as needed and forward them for approval.
• Verify all invoices/billings before mailing and respond to guest enquiries on charges.
• Maintain AR aging alignment with the general ledger and forward commission and credit‑card outstanding for accruals.

Required profile

• Diploma in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar accounts receivable role.
• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and relevant accounting systems.
