ACMV Project Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an ACMV Project Engineer to design, develop and manage air‑conditioning and mechanical ventilation (ACMV) systems for building projects in Singapore. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle from design through installation, testing and commissioning while ensuring compliance with codes and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop ACMV systems according to project specifications, building codes and client requirements.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, layouts and technical documentation for ACMV installations.
• Supervise and coordinate installation, testing and commissioning of ACMV systems on‑site.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ACMV equipment and controls.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors and other engineering disciplines to integrate ACMV systems into building projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards and local authority requirements.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and schedules for ACMV projects.
• Provide technical support and training to maintenance staff and end‑users.

Required profile

• Professional certification in HVAC or ACMV systems is an advantage.
• Minimum of 2–5 years of relevant experience in ACMV or HVAC engineering.
• Strong knowledge of ACMV system design, installation and maintenance practices.
