Aero-Engine Component Technician – Singapore

About the role

Join Pratt & Whitney’s Singapore Component Repair facility as an Aero‑Engine Component Technician. You will work on the repair and overhaul of critical engine parts, supporting the company’s commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul aero‑engine components using benching, blasting, brazing, blending, polishing, welding, machining, and other mechanical processes.
• Follow standard operating procedures and quality guidelines to meet operational requirements.
• Support and participate in environmental, health & safety (EH&S) programs, reporting incidents and hazardous conditions.
• Conduct risk assessments for activities and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum O’ Level or NITEC in Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2 years of relevant experience preferred, but candidates eager to enter the aerospace industry are welcome.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions and SOPs.
• Hands‑on aptitude for operating tools, equipment, and machines.
• Self‑motivated, positive attitude toward change, and comfortable working rotating day/night shifts.

Required skills

• Bench work, blasting, brazing, blending, polishing, welding, machining.
• Basic proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with SAP for work order management.
