Aerospace Engineering Trainee Technician – No Experience Required

About the role

This 12‑month Aerospace Engineering Trainee Technician programme is designed for candidates who want to start a career in aircraft engine maintenance without prior experience. After completing the structured training, you will become a qualified Aircraft Engine Technician working on Rolls‑Royce Trent engines.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in a blended learning pathway that includes company familiarisation, classroom theory and hands‑on on‑the‑job training (OJT).
• Attend a three‑month classroom programme delivered by an external training academy covering both theoretical and practical modules.
• Complete a nine‑month OJT attachment, working on Trent engine components under the guidance of experienced mentors.
• Upon successful completion, commit to a two‑year bond as a qualified Aircraft Engine Technician.

Required profile

• Diploma (NITEC/Higher NITEC) in Engineering – Aeronautical, Avionics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Electrical or Precision Engineering.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
• No prior work experience required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
