Aerospace Engineering Trainee Technician – No Experience Required

About the role

This 12‑month Engineering Trainee Technician programme is designed for individuals who want to start a career in aerospace MRO without prior experience. Trainees will receive classroom training and hands‑on on‑the‑job experience working on Rolls‑Royce Trent engines at a state‑of‑the‑art facility in Changi.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in a structured programme that includes company familiarisation, classroom training and on‑the‑job training (OJT).
• Attend a three‑month classroom programme covering theoretical and practical modules delivered by an external training academy.
• Complete a nine‑month OJT attachment, learning and working on Rolls‑Royce Trent engines under experienced mentors.
• Upon successful completion, serve a two‑year bond with the company as a qualified Aircraft Engine Technician.

Required profile

• NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Engineering (e.g., Aeronautical, Avionics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Electrical, Precision Engineering).
• Comfortable working rotating shifts.
• No prior work experience required – candidates without experience are encouraged to apply.
