Aerospace Trainee Engineering Technician – No Experience Required

About the role

This 12‑month traineeship is designed for individuals eager to start a career in aerospace MRO. You will receive a blend of classroom instruction and hands‑on on‑the‑job training on Rolls‑Royce Trent engine platforms, leading to a qualified Aircraft Engine Technician position.

Key responsibilities

• Complete a three‑month classroom programme covering theoretical and practical modules delivered by an external training academy.
• Undertake a nine‑month on‑the‑job attachment, working on Trent engines under experienced mentors.
• Participate in company familiarisation and rotating‑shift operations.
• After successful completion, commit to a two‑year bond as a qualified Aircraft Engine Technician.

Required profile

• Relevant NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Engineering (Aeronautical, Avionics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Precision Engineering).
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
• No prior work experience required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
