AI Engineer (Mobile Platform)

About the role

Pentas Vision, a subsidiary of Sony Semiconductor Solutions, is looking for an AI Engineer to enhance sensor capabilities on mobile platforms and develop high‑performance computer‑vision algorithms optimized for mobile devices.

Key responsibilities

• Encapsulate and optimise the core framework SDK, ensuring stability, efficiency and cross‑platform performance.
• Co‑design and optimise traditional and deep‑learning computer‑vision algorithms for mobile devices.
• Create, implement and fine‑tune engineering algorithm strategies for various industry applications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electronics or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical thinking and ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficient in C and C++ programming.
• Experience with data structures, object‑oriented design and common design patterns.
• Knowledge of GPU programming (OpenCL, CUDA) and Linux development.
• Hands‑on experience with deep‑learning, image‑processing and computer‑vision algorithms.
• Experience developing and deploying mobile SDKs.
