AI Research Scientist – Sustainable HVAC Solutions

About the role

Bosch Group is looking for a highly motivated AI Research Scientist to join its Singapore R&D team focused on sustainability. The role will explore AI‑driven innovations for HVAC engineering, aiming to improve indoor comfort, wellbeing, and air quality while supporting Bosch’s long‑term product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Drive AI innovation for urban sustainability, especially in sustainable HVAC systems.
• Co‑create with business units, conduct customer interviews, define problem statements, and pitch research proposals.
• Lead end‑to‑end AI solution development: data acquisition, modeling, feature extraction, and user‑centric function creation.
• Design and execute experiments, build prototypes, and validate performance improvements.
• Identify and collaborate with top local universities and research institutions.
• Maintain regular alignment with the Strategic Research Portfolio Owner and provide quarterly project updates.

Required profile

• Senior‑level researcher with a strong track record in AI or machine‑learning research.
• Experience working in interdisciplinary teams and with external partners.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management and idea pitching.
• Ability to translate research outcomes into commercializable solutions.
