Director, AI & Data Strategy – Technical Product Management for Responsible AI

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Director to lead the transformation of internal Responsible AI capabilities into market‑ready products and consulting services. This senior technical product manager will shape the strategy, architecture, and commercialization of Responsible AI solutions for global enterprises operating in highly regulated sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Convert internal Responsible AI tooling into adoption‑ready, market‑facing offerings, defining product boundaries, maturity standards, documentation, and service models.
• Act as the solution‑shaping architect, collaborating early with customers, regulators, and delivery teams to design end‑to‑end Responsible AI solutions across cloud, on‑premises, sovereign, and hybrid environments.
• Lead cross‑functional alignment among engineering, governance, legal, compliance, and delivery teams to ensure products are sellable, deployable, operable, and maintainable at scale.
• Partner with internal AI, platform, legal, compliance, and consulting groups, and engage externally with customers, regulators, and ecosystem partners.
• Drive go‑to‑market execution, ensuring solutions meet regulatory, contractual, and operational expectations.

Required profile

• Director‑level experience in technical product management and solution architecture.
• Proven track record in AI governance, Responsible AI, or related AI strategy roles.
• Experience working with regulated industries and navigating compliance, legal, and risk considerations.
• Ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders under ambiguity.
