AI Support Engineer (Korean Speaking)

About the role

OpenAI’s User Operations team is building the first post‑AGI support organization. As an AI Support Engineer you will work directly with customers to troubleshoot high‑impact technical issues on our platform, while shaping world‑class support for an AGI‑driven future.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex API failures, integration challenges, authentication errors and production incidents.
• Provide end‑to‑end ownership by debugging logs, reproducing issues and delivering expert guidance.
• Serve as an escalation point, partnering with Engineering to prevent recurring problems and improve tooling.
• Drive automation and AI‑powered workflows to increase team efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Collaborate with Product and Go‑to‑Market teams to scale solutions learned from customer cases.
• Participate in on‑call rotation for holiday and weekend coverage as needed.

Required profile

• Fluent business‑level Korean and English (spoken and written).
• 8+ years in User Operations, Support Engineering or similar technical roles, preferably in fast‑growth tech environments.
• Strong enterprise communication skills and calm demeanor during high‑stakes incident calls.
• Proven ability to build relationships with customers and cross‑functional partners.
• Critical thinker who thrives in ambiguity and continuously seeks growth opportunities.

Required skills

• Python scripting for automation and tool integration.
• Hands‑on experience with OpenAI API, Codex, ChatGPT or similar AI services.
• Expert‑level SaaS troubleshooting, including API debugging and authentication flows.
• Ability to script and engineer code to automate repetitive tasks.
