Aircraft Engine Technician – Maintenance & Repair

About the role
Pratt & Whitney is seeking a skilled Technician to perform repair and inspection of aircraft engine components in a dedicated cell environment. The role involves applying approved technical data, supporting production efficiency, and contributing to a multi‑skilled workforce.
Key responsibilities
- Execute standard repair and inspection processes for specific aircraft engine parts using approved technical data and work instructions.
- Perform cross‑functional tasks in areas such as Sheet Metal, Welding, Machining, Bonding, Fiberglass, Plasma Spray, or Painting.
- Support production linearity, workshop setup, housekeeping, and other activities to ensure efficient operations.
- Develop a self‑directed, multi‑skilled workforce through planned training.
- Utilize machines, equipment, and tools to carry out standard repairs.
- Maintain and manage tooling and fixtures to ensure readiness and compliance.
- Document repair work accurately, including transactions in SAP/G8.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Required profile
- NITEC or equivalent qualification in Aircraft Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Precision Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in one or more of: Sheet Metal, Welding, Machining, Bonding, Fiberglass, Plasma Spray, Painting.
- Meticulous, detail‑oriented, and hands‑on approach.
- Proactive, eager to learn with a growth mindset.
- Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts and overtime as required.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
- Highly motivated with a strong drive for success.
