Aircraft Engine Technician – Repair & Inspection

About the role

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a skilled Technician to perform repair and inspection of aircraft engine components in a dedicated cell environment. The role supports production continuity and contributes to a multi‑skilled workforce within the Cell & Repair Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute standard repair and inspection processes for aircraft engine parts using approved technical data.
• Perform cross‑functional tasks in areas such as Sheet Metal, Welding, Machining, Bonding, Fiberglass, Plasma Spray, or Painting.
• Support workshop setup, housekeeping, and production linearity activities.
• Maintain tooling, fixtures, and equipment readiness and compliance.
• Document all repair work accurately, including transactions in SAP/G8.
• Participate in skills training to develop a self‑directed, multi‑skilled workforce.

Required profile

• NITEC or equivalent qualification in Aircraft Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Precision Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years hands‑on experience with at least one of the listed technical areas.
• Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts and overtime as needed.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
