Airport Ramp Specialist – Up to $1,925 + Allowances + OT

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Airport Ramp Specialist to join our team at Changi Airport. This entry‑level position offers a competitive salary, shift allowance, overtime pay and performance bonuses, with full on‑the‑job training provided.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑flight checks and operate ground support equipment such as JCPLs, skyloaders, tractors and transporters.
• Position and operate the aerobridge or passenger steps in accordance with airline and safety standards.
• Load and unload baggage, cargo and mail, securing loads and verifying documentation.
• Inspect cargo, ULDs and aircraft compartments for damage or leakage and report any irregularities.
• Return equipment to designated parking areas and report defects or incidents promptly.
• Support the Ramp Loading Officer to ensure safe, efficient operations and on‑time performance.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary education.
• Valid Class 3 driving licence.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Physically fit for walking long distances and climbing equipment steps.
• Willingness to work outdoors on rotating shifts.

Required skills

• Operation of ground support equipment (JCPL, skyloader, tractor, transporter).
• Aerobridge and passenger step operation.
