Algorithm Engineer – Conversational AI for Global E‑Commerce

About the role

We are looking for an Algorithm Engineer to join our global e‑commerce AI team. You will help build a conversational AI system that powers instant, intelligent customer service across our worldwide platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise algorithms that enable large‑scale natural language understanding for e‑commerce queries.
• Collaborate with product and data science teams to integrate LLM‑based solutions into the customer‑service pipeline.
• Conduct post‑training and fine‑tuning of large language models to improve context awareness and response quality.
• Evaluate model performance, troubleshoot issues, and iterate on solutions to meet reliability and latency targets.
• Contribute to research and implementation of cutting‑edge NLP techniques that enhance the AI assistant’s capabilities.

Required profile

• Strong background in algorithm design and implementation for AI or machine‑learning applications.
• Experience working with large language models or similar deep‑learning architectures.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and deliver high‑quality code.
