Analyst - Business Development & Strategic Planning

About the role

This early‑career position offers the chance to develop expertise in the edible oils & fats business within Golden Agri‑Resources' Downstream Business Development and Strategic Planning team. You will support research, analysis and strategy formulation for both organic growth and inorganic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market, industry and competitor research to spot trends and growth opportunities.
• Perform preliminary feasibility assessments for new business ideas, including market sizing and risk analysis.
• Assist in building financial models, business cases and valuation analyses for partnerships and potential M&A.
• Prepare strategic presentations, reports and documentation for deal processes, such as data‑room materials and investment memos.
• Track key performance indicators and contribute to periodic reporting on strategic initiatives.
• Develop and maintain knowledge banks, structured databases, dashboards and analytical tools.
• Compile, clean and analyse internal and external data to generate actionable insights.
• Participate in project discussions, travel when required and support cross‑functional workstreams.

Required profile
