Architectural Manager – Lead Design Team

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Manager to lead our design team on large‑scale projects in Singapore. You will be responsible for ensuring architectural deliverables meet project specifications, timelines, and quality standards while coordinating closely with clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the architectural team, including Design Coordinators.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise production of construction drawings, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to interpret and implement designs accurately.
• Coordinate architectural works with structural, M&E, and interior design trades to resolve interface issues.
• Monitor site progress, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with approved drawings and quality standards.
• Identify and resolve design discrepancies, technical issues, and site challenges.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations (e.g., BCA, URA) and company standards.
• Support project management with reporting, documentation, and coordination meetings.
• Drive timely submission of materials, samples, and method statements.
• Promote workplace safety, quality, and environmental compliance.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture, preferably recognised by BOA or a relevant professional body.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience, including several years in a managerial role within a main contractor environment.
• Proven experience managing architectural works for large‑scale or high‑rise projects.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore local authority submission processes and construction practices.
• Good understanding of architectural detailing, materials, and coordination with structural and M&E systems.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Meticulous, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
