Asia Quality Excellence Director – Singapore

About the role

The Asia Quality Excellence Director will lead the design and implementation of advanced manufacturing and quality management processes for our client’s Asian sites. Reporting to the Global Quality Management Head in the USA, the role focuses on driving quality excellence across Singapore and the broader region.

Key responsibilities

• Act as subject‑matter expert to develop and re‑engineer strategic quality systems and manufacturing initiatives.
• Identify and resolve critical quality control pain points, delivering continuous process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional leaders in Product Management, Engineering and Procurement to optimise production yield and streamline product acceptance testing.
• Lead root‑cause analysis and implement efficient CAPA inspection and reporting methodologies to minimise batch release issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 10–15 years of end‑to‑end manufacturing or related international engineering/business management experience in a complex, high‑mix low‑volume precision manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to operate in a matrix organisation and drive solution‑oriented outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills for influencing global and regional stakeholders.
• Good understanding of SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
