Assembly Technician

About the role

We are looking for a skilled and detail‑oriented Assembly Technician to join our precision manufacturing team in Singapore. You will work on advanced optical, optoelectronic and laser‑based products, collaborating closely with engineering, quality and operations to ensure high‑performance delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical, optical, fiber‑optic and optoelectronic assembly according to work instructions and engineering specifications.
• Execute Fiber Loop Assembly (FLA) processes, including fiber bonding, sealing and curing.
• Strip, clean, cleave, polish and inspect optical fibers; manage routing, looping and cable handling per technical drawings.
• Support optical alignment, fiber collimation and other precision assembly activities.
• Operate vacuum systems and specialized manufacturing equipment safely.
• Conduct testing, inspection, troubleshooting and verification using approved procedures and equipment.
• Document production records, maintain traceability, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Perform bulk and precision cleaning, packing and shipment preparation.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives, corrective‑preventive actions and new product introductions.
• Train and assist team members as required.
