Assistant Bar Manager, One-Ninety Bar

About the role

As Assistant Bar Manager of the One-Ninety Bar at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore, you will lead the bar operation alongside the Beverage Manager, helping shape day-to-day service and inspiring the team to deliver thoughtful, consistent and personalised service. The role suits an experienced Team Leader/Supervisor or a current Assistant F&B Manager ready to expand their leadership and operational and commercial acumen.

Key responsibilities

• Lead from the floor by overseeing daily bar operations and ensuring warm, attentive, unobtrusive service
• Coach and train the team through pre-shift briefings, performance feedback and ongoing guidance
• Maintain consistent service techniques, grooming, product knowledge and standards
• Build guest relationships, handle service recovery and guest concerns, and work with the Beverage Manager and F&B leadership
• Support scheduling and manpower planning, and monitor usage, inventory and equipment to control costs and reduce waste
• Keep the bar and guest areas clean, safe and well presented
• Handle daily administration such as revenue documentation, cash handling, banking, inventories, shift reports and POS/hotel systems
• Communicate through daily logs, briefings and meetings, and identify ways to improve the guest experience

Required profile

• Preferably 2-3 years of experience as a Team Leader, Supervisor or similar role in a luxury hotel, high-end bar or lounge
• Strong knowledge of bar and F&B operations, service standards and guest experience
• Good understanding of beverage operations, cost control, labour management and basic F&B accounting
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Flexible schedule, able to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
