About the role
We are looking for an Assistant Building Manager to support the management of on‑site contractors and maintenance activities for our facilities in Singapore. The role involves coordinating maintenance works, overseeing safety procedures and ensuring compliance with contract specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise, plan and organise a team of on‑site contractors for planned and ad‑hoc maintenance works.
- Investigate, check and analyse reported breakdowns and faults to determine causes and prevent recurrence.
- Supervise upgrading projects and ensure contractors meet contract requirements, including performance evaluation.
- Conduct Safety Committee meetings with H&S members, preparing slides and minutes.
- Manage and maintain records of incidents, circumstances and events.
- Conduct and coordinate audits, inspections and ad‑hoc site inspections, drafting summary reports.
Required profile
- Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Projects & Facilities Management, Estate Management or Engineering.
- Experience managing vendors, maintenance operations and projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Fire Safety Manager certification (advantage).
