Assistant Cook

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Cook to support our kitchen operations across Singapore. You will work closely with the Cook to ensure food is prepared efficiently, the kitchen stays clean, and supplies are well‑managed.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Cook with food preparation tasks such as cleaning, cutting, chopping and peeling ingredients.
• Maintain hygiene by cleaning and sanitising preparation areas in line with health and safety standards.
• Wash, disinfect and store kitchen utensils, equipment and appliances.
• Receive, weigh, store and organise food supplies and manage inventory.
• Operate kitchen equipment including mixers, ovens, knives and cutters.
• Support menu development and improvise existing dishes, including North Indian cuisine.
• Help control kitchen expenses, food costs and staffing within budget.
• Work flexible shifts as required.

Required profile

• Ability to prepare North Indian dishes.
• Willingness to work shift patterns.
• Professional attitude and ability to follow hygiene codes.

Required skills

• Food preparation (cleaning, cutting, chopping, peeling).
• Operation of kitchen appliances (mixers, ovens, knives, cutters).
• Sanitising and hygiene compliance.
• Inventory and stock management.
