Assistant Engineer – Industrial Product Field Service

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Engineer to provide field service support for semiconductor lithography equipment in cleanroom environments. The role involves installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining complex industrial products while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and test lithography equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing technical issues and carrying out repairs.
• Provide on‑site and remote troubleshooting support to clients.
• Train end‑users on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
• Maintain accurate service logs, reports and records of work performed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and company standards.
• Communicate with customers to understand needs and propose solutions, including equipment upgrades or replacements.
• Travel frequently to customer locations and work 12‑hour rotating shifts.
• Coordinate with internal teams for escalations and product improvements.
• Share field feedback to aid product design and service enhancements.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant field service or maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, regulations and safety practices.
• Familiarity with office and engineering/technical computer applications, databases and systems.
• Willingness to work 12‑hour rotating shifts and travel regularly.
