Assistant Engineer – Pump Installation & Commissioning

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Engineer to join our technical team in Singapore. The role focuses on on‑site installation, validation and commissioning of various pump systems, as well as providing hands‑on support to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site installation, validation and commissioning of pumps.
• Troubleshoot, service and carry out minor repairs on pump equipment.
• Overhaul vacuum pumps in the workshop.
• Deliver user training on pump operation and maintenance.
• Generate failure analysis reports and maintain service records in the company database.
• Source technical information related to pumps and associated systems.

Required profile

• Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience with pumps or industrial equipment.
• Strong aptitude for diagnosing mechanical faults and developing effective solutions.
• Dynamic, self‑driven and motivated to learn and progress.
• Class 3 driving licence.
