Assistant Human Resource Manager

About the role

The Assistant Human Resource Manager supports Takagi Ramen's HR department in delivering HR strategies aligned with business goals. This role assists across recruitment, employee relations, learning, performance management and compliance, while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment and selection processes, including job ad creation and employment contracts.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, payroll accuracy and timely processing.
• Develop and deliver training programmes and track staff progress against promotion metrics.
• Handle employee relations, grievance counseling and disciplinary actions in line with company policies and MOM regulations.
• Lead a team of HR and admin staff to ensure timely completion of HR tasks.
• Analyse labour cost projections, implement cost controls and support budgeting.
• Maintain HR systems, develop company structures and ensure legal compliance.
• Prepare year‑end appraisal formulas, productivity metrics and manpower budgeting.
• Process work pass applications, renewals and cancellations for foreign workers.
• Administer yearly insurance renewal, work injury claims and business licences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management (preferred).
• 3–4 years of relevant HR experience.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure and delegate workload effectively.
• High integrity and capability to handle confidential HR matters.
• Organisational and documentation skills with a results‑driven, SOP‑focused mindset.
