Assistant Manager – Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Accountant to join BIT’s finance team. The role will support the full accounting cycle, ensure accurate financial reporting and collaborate with auditors and tax specialists in a fast‑growing digital‑asset environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the full set of accounts, including journals, schedules and reconciliations, to support monthly and year‑end close.
• Coordinate with external auditors for the annual statutory audit and ensure compliance.
• Provide timely information to the tax team and assist with tax filings.
• Prepare and review financial reporting submissions for regulators.
• Monitor financial metrics and deliver accounting support to internal stakeholders.
• Update accounting policies and contribute to financial control process improvements.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, corporate policies, procedures and accounting standards.
• Participate in ad‑hoc finance projects as required.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Accounting.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience; Big 4 audit background is a plus.
• Strong sense of responsibility, self‑motivation and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to acquire new knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
