Assistant Manager – Airport Systems & Operations Technology

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, service‑oriented professional to lead IT initiatives and ensure operational excellence for our airport’s technology ecosystem. The role combines strategic planning, project delivery, and 24/7 operations management of critical airport IT systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a system roadmap and implementation plans aligned with airport objectives.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build business cases, assess ROI, and define customer service benefits.
• Lead internal technical teams and vendors to design solutions, set key performance indicators, and ensure successful deployment.
• Manage project and change management processes to meet technical, functional, performance, and business requirements.
• Oversee 24/7 operations, maintenance, compliance, and renewal of on‑premise and cloud‑based airport IT systems.
• Continuously review and improve business and IT processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in relevant technical domains within the airport or aviation industry.
• Proficiency in cloud services, networking, and server administration.
• Preferred certifications in IT Service Management (ITSM) and project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2).
• Strong analytical, risk‑assessment, and mitigation planning abilities.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills, with the ability to manage contractors and address cybersecurity threats.
