Assistant Manager / Assistant VP, Credit Specialties

About the role

Marsh is looking for an Assistant Manager / Assistant Vice President to join its Credit Specialties team within its risk business, based in Singapore. The role is hybrid, with at least three days a week spent in the office. As an individual contributor in a high-performing Client Service team, you will own complex credit risk challenges, build a strong portfolio and drive trade credit solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Grow the trade credit portfolio by managing client relationships and owning key deliverables and revenue objectives
• Identify, qualify and convert new business prospects through proactive market engagement and relationship building
• Design and deliver customised trade credit solutions, from initial assessment through placement, working with specialist teams as needed
• Advise clients on credit risk transfer options that fit their goals and market conditions
• Build partnerships with clients and insurers by recommending solutions that support their strategy and performance
• Lead strategic discussions such as client meetings, renewals and business planning sessions

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Banking or a related discipline
• More than 3 years of relevant market or industry experience, with exposure to credit or accounts receivable functions
• Proven track record managing client relationships and delivering business development results
• Track record supporting account retention and renewal through consultative relationship management (a plus)
