Assistant Manager, Business Planning & Operations

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to drive business planning, analysis and operational excellence across our product portfolio. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to turn data into actionable insights that improve sales, profitability and inventory performance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse sales, inventory, customer and product data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Prepare reports and dashboards that support strategic decision‑making.
• Manage product categories, support pricing initiatives and collaborate with suppliers to enhance availability.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement and automation projects.
• Monitor inventory and demand, recommending actions to optimise stock levels and turnover.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive data‑driven initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Data Analytics, Economics or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in business operations, category/product management, demand planning or business analysis.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen with a proven ability to translate data into insights.
• Experience leading cross‑functional projects and process‑improvement initiatives.
