Assistant Manager – Category Management & Business Development (Beauty & Wellness)

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to lead Category Management and Business Development for our Beauty & Wellness portfolio. You will work closely with marketing and operations to expand the category, acquire new merchants, and drive sales growth across our e‑commerce platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead merchant acquisition: prospect, negotiate, develop promotions, and manage onboarding up to contract signing.
• Account management: own sales targets, act as primary contact, review performance, and propose range expansion, marketing initiatives, and partnerships.
• Business and operations: analyse merchant performance, prepare monthly reports, resolve publication, order, logistics and payment issues, and collaborate cross‑functionally.
• Profitability: drive sales through new ideas and monitor category management (CM) performance.
• Track key metrics such as sales performance, merchant acquisition, product range expansion, exclusive launches, merchant satisfaction, and new business initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree holder with 4‑6 years of experience in merchandising, e‑commerce or marketplace environments.
• Proven track record in merchant acquisition and category growth.
• Strong industry network in beauty and wellness preferred.
• Excellent written and presentation communication skills.
