Assistant Manager, Dining Reservations

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Dining Reservations will lead the daily reservation operations for all restaurants and outlets at Shangri‑La Singapore. You will ensure a seamless, accurate, and personalised booking experience for guests while supporting revenue optimisation and brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily dining reservations, managing systems, seating plans and guest profiles.
• Lead, coach and motivate the reservations team to deliver warm, professional service.
• Handle VIP, large group and complex bookings with discretion.
• Coordinate closely with Restaurant Managers, Culinary teams and Front Office to ensure smooth guest experiences.
• Monitor demand, peak periods and trends, providing insights for operational planning.
• Resolve guest feedback and complaints promptly, ensuring effective service recovery.
• Maintain accurate reservation records and guest preferences in line with data‑protection standards.
• Support dining promotions, campaigns and special events in alignment with marketing objectives.
• Uphold Shangri‑La service standards, policies and SOP compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in dining reservations or F&B operations, supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
• Guest‑centric mindset with excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required.
