Assistant Manager - F&B Event Sales

About the role

The Standard Singapore is looking for a proactive Assistant Manager to lead Food & Beverage event sales. You will be responsible for driving revenue through full and partial buyouts of the hotel’s restaurants, bars, poolside and terrace spaces, as well as supporting brand activations and private celebrations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business across corporate clients, agencies, lifestyle brands, PR partners and event planners.
• Lead outbound prospecting, networking and direct sales initiatives.
• Conduct venue tours, client presentations and commercial pitch meetings.
• Prepare tailored proposals, quotations and event packages that meet revenue targets and minimum spend requirements.
• Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation through conversion and post‑event relationship development.
• Collaborate with F&B Operations, Culinary, Marketing & Communications and Hotel Operations to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Develop strategic partnerships that enhance The Standard’s position in Singapore’s lifestyle and hospitality scene.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in F&B sales, restaurant or lifestyle venue event sales, brand partnerships or agency‑side roles.
• Strong background in restaurant groups, lifestyle hospitality brands, nightlife or dining concepts, creative agencies or PR agencies.
• Proven track record in business development, sales generation and relationship management.
• Deep understanding of Singapore’s lifestyle, dining, hospitality and events market.
• Confidence in selling and closing high‑value buyouts, activations and partnerships.
• Excellent networking, communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Proactive, self‑driven, commercially minded and results‑oriented.
• Willingness to support events during evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
