Assistant Manager – Interdisciplinary Collaboration Core

About the role

The Graduate College at NTU seeks an Assistant Manager to oversee the Interdisciplinary Collaboration Core (ICC) courses and provide administrative support to the Deputy Director. This position plays a key role in coordinating postgraduate programmes and ensuring smooth delivery of interdisciplinary learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and manage ICC courses, workshops, seminars and related activities.
• Arrange class timetabling, book venues and coordinate with colleges, schools and instructors.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for students and schools on all ICC‑related matters.
• Handle course registration, allocate students from diverse disciplines, and monitor attendance.
• Manage student results, including organising Board of Examiners meetings.
• Process payments to course instructors and address other administrative tasks.
• Prepare reports, presentation slides, correspondence and take meeting minutes.
• Coordinate with internal offices and external stakeholders to ensure timely communication and task completion.

Required profile

• A recognised university degree in any discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector.
• Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• People‑oriented and a collaborative team player.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
