Assistant Manager – Internship Programme

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Internship will support the Team Manager in delivering NTU's internship programmes. This role combines individual contribution with deputising responsibilities, ensuring smooth operations for undergraduate internship placements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end management of internship programmes, including workflow design and process optimisation.
• Develop strategies to expand internship opportunities and increase student participation.
• Monitor internship progress, identify potential issues early, and provide guidance to students and host organisations.
• Engage with colleges, schools and external partners to optimise placement outcomes and enhance career readiness.
• Maintain and grow relationships with host organisations, supporting their recruitment needs.
• Support team members, ensure continuity of operations, and collaborate across internal teams.
• Prepare data reports, analyse trends and generate insights for strategic planning.
• Lead ad‑hoc projects, adopt new technologies and drive continuous improvement of workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university (polytechnic diploma with extensive relevant experience also acceptable).
• Relevant experience in internship management, programme or project management, customer service or process engineering.
